Here’s tomorrow night’s workout:
~2mi warm-up around the grounds…then on track 3 x 10mins @30-40min race pace with walk/jog recoveries of 4-5mins. Obviously, pacing is important. Cool-down around the grounds…varying lengths.
PLEASE DO NOT FREAK OUT ABOUT THE LENGTH OF THE WORKOUT. This is mostly geared to the many folks doing marathons/half marathons this Fall but is a useful workout for any serious distance runner. Nevertheless…we will make modifications for those who feel this workout does not fit well in their training and/or simply do not want to do it…or who find themselves struggling.
